A Very Happy Woman's Day to all gals/woman..This was the first ever womans day in my life till now that I enjoyed so much. Today I was called for Microsoft's Aptitude test. It would be a dream of every person in IT to enter into Google,Microsoft,etc...It was so amazing to listen their presentation. Everything was so beautifully architected and quoted..I got Terna College of Engg. as my centre of examination.
As I entered the campus at 9.10 a.m.,I saw that students were screened for their verification. It was held on either side of the entrance by Terna Volunteers. I jumped into left side ,as I saw, there was a queue on the right. 6 volunteers were sitting for our verification. 3 on left n 3 on right. I just went to the person in the middle n started showing my relevant documents when I suddenly found sum1 saying " M'am, show me ur documents." Twice. Then I suddenly turned and found one of my old friend sitting over there for all this process. It was nice to see atleast sum person whom we know,sumwhere outside.. After completion of all the formalities, we were sent to Seminar Hall.
Presentation was given by a woman personnel of Microsoft. Entire 1 hour presentation, She just brought the company in front of us...I have no words to describe anything abt the company..After that, we were sent to the respective class rooms for examination..
Aptitude was genuine..There wer 5 sections..Aptitude, AOA, C and C++, OS, RDBMS.
Each had varying time duration..Entire exam was for 2 hours. Papers were set according to the company standards. I attempted.. All deep concepts.Minor mistake and it would be 1 wrong answer..The competition is so tough. Ppl all over India are called today for aptitude at different metropolitan cities. Around 7000 ppl had given exam today and only 30% of them are going to be recruited. So, U can just imagine!! The thing is, if they keep sectional cutoffs,then it would be even more difficult. After around 1 year, I appeared for an apti today. Watever!!! The experience was very nice..
And finally the return travel was so funny!!! From nerul station, we 3 friends boarded a belapur train instead of CST in a hurry burry and then realised it at next station!! Then boarded a CST train properly from Seawoods and sumhow reached Vashi.. In this confusion, we had already missed a connecting train that we wud hav caught frm vashi to thane..Due to this mess, we had to wait for half n hour for the next train. Finaly, when we boarded this train and found a place to sit, we all were so relaxed to sit, as we 3 of us were greatly tired. Jus took a seat and we found a gal sitting besides us..started talking to us sum or the other thing...continuosly right for around 20 mins. But even in that tiresome state,I cudnt control my laughter at my poor frend who was her target!!!Hahaha..But then I controlled sumhow..n she started irritating al 3 of us..Being helpless we tolerated her till Thane n took a deep breath as we alighted.. Rushing for the next train frm Thane to our hometown Dombivli, I was so fragmented that I just wished I reach home in single piece. Somehow everything ended up in peace....
Come wat may, the day was awesome!!!
